RYAN FARR
Ryan graduated from Fayetteville State University with his B.S. in Music Education and received his diploma from Avant Media Institute in Fall of 2023. He worked with several clients in his time as an audio engineer and continues to use his skill set to provide the creative, musical expressions of artists. Ryan also is a music producer providing artists with unique and stylistic beats catered to the artists musical needs.
He has 13 years of teaching experience and has taught schools in Houston ISD and Public Schools of Robeson County in North Carolina. Ryan currently teaches at Sterling High School in Houston ISD as the head choir director and assistant band director. He also worked as a Music Instructor at “Music and Arts.” While working in HISD, he has received several awards, including teacher of the year and a three time reciepient of the Mr. Holland’s Opus grant. Ryan has performed with various off-Broadway musicals, such as “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and “Rent,” playing the drum set and percussion.
While in North Carolina, he played in the “Band of Directors” jazz band. Ryan has won numerous awards, including the “Hometown Heroes” award from the Mayor of Fairmont.
